Another one for passion for Promarkers and Papertake weekly

Hi there!
Tomorrow is my last day out of three weeks working out and learning good stuff about my body and illness. In this totally busy period I've managed to create something for PFP and PTW. Not my usually card, but a little spring basket. It was so much fun to make and the result is way over my own expectation so I think I have to try this one again.

I've used the sketch provided by PTW and the theme from PFP. The sketch is  this lovely one, and the theme is Springtheme with animal. Any colours do. I do hope that my little Tilda bunny counts as an animal. :)

My images are from Magnolia. Lots of tulips that are cut out and raised from the panel to give some dept. The text is rubb ons from Letraset. Cherry blossoms from Wild Orchid craft and so is the ribbon. DP are once again from my supermarket pack, the spring part of it. Really wonderful colours but my photo is pretty bad and it doesn't show the colours properly. A little heart charm from Pagoni.se is added to the little card.

The little gift card/tag.

One side of the basked filled with easter eggs, almond and chocolate, mmmm

The other side of the basked, with the same candy. :)

And one "small" side, the other one looks the same. :)

I found the model for the basket in the magazine "scrapbooks etc". Loved to stitch it all together. Totally fun the whole project. I'm so glad that I managed to use Dawny's sketch in it as well. Well off for some crimestories. Have been up since really early this morning. My youngerst turned two, and was up way too early for me. But he has had a really great day!

A good evening to you all.

Hugs,
Marie

Friday sketchers week 94

Hi and hello! A grey and dull day but all the snow is finally melting away. Slowly, slowly. Wonderful! Have been waiting a long time for that now. I missed last weeks challenge at Friday Sketchers so I thought that I start this weekend with FS. Well, I actually made a card for last weeks challenge but blogger wouldn't put my stuff out there in the blogging world, so I save that to another day. :)

This week however I hope my card will be able to show. Hey! I am able to write so the picture shouldn't be any problem right? This is way more than I manage to write last week. -lol-

The sketch looks like this and is made by Claudia.

Here comes my card

For this card I've used Magnolia's Tingla as the card is for a Christening. Flowers from Prima, Wild Orchid craf and Stämpelgården. The little hearts are from Pagoni.se. DP are Pink Parafit from Forever Friends range. Pearls from Bunny Zoe.

Now we're going out the whole family to get some air and get away from home for a little while. Wish you all a very good day!

Hugs,
Marie

Just Magnolia

This week at Just Magnolia there is a sketch for us all to follow. For my card I've used one of the new stamps from "Hoppy Easter 2010". I believe it's called "open gate" or something like that. Anyway, I like it alot and I even think there is an Magnlia tree there. I used to work at a place that had a couple of those outside the building and I decided they look like that. - smile -

I also decided to use this image on it's own and coloured it with my promarkers. I used almost only the warm greys. To top it of and get the Magnolia look I used almond and putty on the flower. They are really pale and got even paler with my blender pen. :)

The sketch

So let see how the card looks then. DP is from Basic Grey, Wisteria Lane. Pearls are as most of the time from Bunny Zoe.

It's getting a little late again and I've got an early morning tomorrow. New week, new challenges at the hospital. Looking forward to the work outs, and not! I want surgery for my right knee but the doctors don't agree. Have to try to make it stronger first and if that doesn't work then hopefully surgery. Long process I guess to get there.

A good night to you all!

Hugs,
Marie

Passion for Promarkers and Papertake weekly

At Papertake Weekly Challenge this week there is a sketch looking like below. And at Passion for Promarkers there is a colour combo to follow. Bright green and Mango. I thought it was a good idea to combine the two challenges once again and save me some time as it is something I am quite low on at this time. For my image I've used High Hope's Scuba kitty and the text "Catfish". DP are bloom and groom from My Minds Eye. Perfect colours for PfP's challenge. I've used tons of glossy accent to hightlight the water around the fish/cat, and the bowl. Hopefully you're able to see some of it. It looks greet IRL! LoL

I've also flipped the sketch around to get it more suitable for my image. It keept togehter much better this way. A few punched flowers and some cousins to the dew drops are also used. The ribbon is also coloured with the promarkers, Henna this time on a spotty dotty ribbon in white. :)

OK, time to give the cats a bath as they are covered in dust from the litterbox. Not a very nice look or smell. Way too long since they looked inside the bath tub!

Hugs,
Marie

One card, and a few challenges again

Never thought that I would be able to make any cards this week, but one is done and it fits into a few challenges out there. Limited time for the coming three weeks, but I miss my card making so I try to get one or two together at least.

I have three weeks of working out at the hospital during the whole days now and it's great! I know that I have a body that is alive again. :) And I am really tired, and in a good way for the first time in very long. Love that! Hope I can find a bit of the old me again. But now to the challenges.

First out it Just Magnolia monthly challenge which is to make a tent card, then there is flower power over at CupCake Craft Challenges and Quixotic Challenges which have "Leave it out" as a theme. A good match over there as well as the whole DP from 300dpi.com is covered with them, as well as I have put a few ones around the flower.

´

I coloured with different kind of inks and done a lot of cutting. I've used three Magnolia stamps on this card, all from the animal and pet collection from last year. The flowers are from Prima, leaf punch from McGill, brads from Papermania and the DP from DCWV as I told before. It's their digi store that is called 300dpi. The paper is from the collection "Songbird".

Well all friends out there. Time to rest and relax infront of the TV for a while and then early to bed tonight. Long day tomorrow as well.

Have a good evening!

Hugs,
Marie

Friday Sketchers week 92

Hi out there in the blog world!
I hope that you're having a way much better day than I am, and it's only 09,30. It's totally crazy and the olders son has tummy flue for the third  day. And of cours Mats is working the weekend as well. I'm so tired! Were only sleeping three hours last night and my mood and temper today is horrable! Thought I would blog this card and see if I can calm down a little. I feel like I'm drowning at the moment, not a very good feeling.

Well then, card time! In the middle of all this mess that is over here at the moment I managed to make a card last night for the Friday Sketch challenge. Never think I've been this early. :) I have three busy weeks coming up with lots of different kind of work outs all day long at the hospital, so I guess I won't be making many cards the coming weeks.

The sketch made by Claudia...

For the card I've used Mimosa from Bildmålarna.se, tons of pearls from both Bunny Zoe and Skaparlusten. Flowers are from Prima and Stämpelgården, and so are the rose buds. Paper string from Prickiform, the MS heart is from Tracy at dies to die for, just coloured it in with a pink promarker pen. Leafs are from Wild Orchid Crafts. Mimosa is coloured with distress inks. DP is from Panduro and the brown "wellie paper" came with a gift to one of my sons. Reusing today. Loved the effect with that harsh and kind of rough look with the more girly pink. The sentiment is die cutted with a tiny alpha from Sizzix, Neon Mini I think it's called. It says "happy birthday" in Swedish. A good amount of glitter is also used on the card. It was snowing a lot last night and I kind of got hit the X-mas spirit again. Crazy I know but it's over now. :) Gold glitter is from Panduro and cotton candy from Rangers.

The card made by MI...

Well, guess I have to go and take care of the kids even if I feel like running away from home at the moment.
Take care every one and have a good day!

Hugs,
Marie

A bunch of challenges in one card...

I didn't plan to make any more cards this week. Feeling a bit down and my rheumatism is killing me, but then I just had to colour and I forgot about my pain for a while. Now I've taken the worst picture ever of the card because tomorrow will be no time for blogging. My boys are of kindergarten tomorrow and I thougth we should do something fun, and tomorrow that means baking cup cakes. Bless our kitchen! :) Hopefully it can keep W and P happy for a while and then their grandma will show to take care of them during eve. Mats and I are going and listen to writer than talks about how to help your kids to become brighter. Well yes, it sounded like a good idea at the time. It's free and only cost us a couple of hours if it's no good and the boys will have fun at the same time. A win win situation.

Well almost forgot about my card. Since the challenges is a) Magnolia, b) Cupcake craft challenges and c) Papertake weekly challenge there had to be a Magolia stamp in it, I've got two for a change and the theme is birthdays. :) There is plenty of bling and a bow as asked for at PTW, and there is also a bunch of circles and round shaps in it, as asked for in CCC.

My card looks like this. Hope you like it, if you can see how it looks. Told you the photo is really bad. :(

Time to go to bed and get a good nights rest as I will need it, badly.

Hugs for you all,
Marie

Passion for promarkers week 40 + Friday sketchers 91

Hi and hello in the sunshine!
Almost a little tiny bit of spring feeling going on here today. The snow is melting and the sky is blue for the first time for ages. Love that! :)

Todays card is for Passion for Promarkers and the theme is Back to nature and any colours will do as long as you follow the theme. I also entering the card to FS as I have used their lovely sketch. The sketch is from Friday Sketchers and looks like this.

I've used a paper stack from  DCWV, think they call it "Masculin". Anyway it's nice brown, blue and green colours in the patterns and that's just what I need for this card. I've used a stamp from Lili of the Valley for the first time, and it was so much fun to colour. Have to buy a couple more of those. Saw they had "Tomas the cat" coming up and since I live and breath cats, he needs to move in with me, don't he? :) This little fellow is fishing so I thought he is really in nature. I've used to sketch from Friday sketchers this week. Have used a couple of flowers from my stash, a few fish charms and some bronze coloured half pearls from Bunny Zoe. Enjoy!

Marie
