Cheers to a New Year!

It's already the last day of 2011. I can't believe how fast this year has passed. It feels like yesterday it was January. For a change since the last few weeks we have stunning weather here in Kalmar and it's almost a little chilly. The boys are out (both young and old) preparing lunch on the bbq. They got inspired by their nature walk earlier today. :) I have been home and just relaxed. It really has been a long week for us all.

I made the card when it was really grey and dull outside and I needed some sunshine. That's why I have made a yellow card. Can't belive I did that, not my fave colour but hey it's good to try something "new".

I have used an old paper pad from K & Company. The lovely Tilda is called Tilda with Daisy from the latest of the Magnolia collection called sweet crazy love. This one has to be my fave from all those stamps. Very sweet! I only added a few pearls and flowers from Panduro as decoration together with a ribbon and sentiment also from Magnolia. The sketch is from Paper Take Weekly where I wish to enter my card. I also want to enter it to the challenge over at PFP where the theme is celebration (another birthday card). I love Promarkers are having Anything goes as their theme so I enter my card there as well. My friend Pauline has new challnge blog up and running called Card Crafters Circle and this week it's anything goes theme there as well so be sure to drop by there as well.

And with all this written down I wish all of you lovely crafters everywhere and all other lovely people who drop by here every now and then a wonderful new year! May all your dreams come true!

It's time for the last Paper Shelter challenge for the year

Hi and hello! Welcome back to my corner of the blogging world. Hope you are having a wonderful day filled with lots of joy and crafty makes. :)

We are back with a new challenge over at the Paper Shelter, the last one for 2011. How fast has this year passed? It's soon a year since we started our challengs here at the Paper Shelter. So many wonderful creations we have been looking at and such a joy it has been to lead the B team over the last 6 months or so. Such amazing gals we have on both our teams.

OK back to the real thing here before I forget why I am here. Our challenge today is Tie a bow so a lovely bow somewhere on your creation would be wonderful, otherwise no chance of winning the wonderful prize of a $20 voucher to spend in the paper shelter store. That is if you are smart enough to use a TPS image, if you use another brand you can still win three digis of your choise in the store. That's really lovely too isn't it?

My card is made with one of the new digis that are just put up in the store. It's called Enchanted love. It's so cute that I just had to colour it up right way when I got it from the Paper Shelter. Totally adore this little cutie! I have paired it up with some designer papers from the Sweetest love paper pack, also available from the PaperShelter.    Smashing colours that I just adore. :)

Some ribbon, flower, pearl hearts, metal corners and lace from Wild Orchid Crafts decorates the card for me.

So this is the last from me for today. My two youngsters are home having their days of from day care. I wonder what I was thinking having them home for so long. They won't go back to daycare until 9th of January and after this day it feels like forever until then. LoL

Challenges for this card

Good morning and welcome!

It's time for a new challenge over at For Fun and before I forget to tell you, this challenge will also run for two weeks. The challenge is to show us something new. Make a card for a new home, a new baby, a new puppy etc. That's fun now around the new year isn't it?

We are sponsored by the lovely people from Bugaboo once again. I have used a very sweet image called Water can violets. Lovely one. I had to make two cards with this image so it's very simple this the second one. The first one got a huge muddy cat foot print on it. Not the greatest thing, but maybe I could have used it as something new? LOL I have only used a sheer ribbon and tied a bow for decoration. I also put a few hat pins in to make a little more of it. The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley. My designer papers are from Bearly Mine Design. Just plaid and Flower Delight are they called. So lovely are they not?

With this I leave you for now. In a short while my next challenge for this Wendsday will come up. It's time to double post again. :)

I hope to see you around.

A new challenge over at For Fun for you

This is something unusual for For Fun as we have a two weeks challenge for you this time. We think we all need a little break now when we are busy preparing for the Christmas Season. This weeks challenge is quite easy as we have the theme of Anything Christmas and we are sponsored by the Lovely Meljen this week.
The prize is four images from MelJen. Lovely isn't it?

This is the first tea light candle card I have ever made and now I have set my mind to make nine more of them this year. All the teachers at the kindergarten and some other staff that works there as well. Thought it would be nice. It's W's last year there and the teacher are wonderful. I have used one of MelJen's lovely images called Gingerbread Ornament. I was kind of naughty and cut some parts of the ginger bread man as it got to bulky for my card. I have paired the lovely men up with some great designer papers from Bearly Mine Designs. Fitted perfect to the images. Love that! They are coloured with my Letraset family and some flowers, mushrooms and snowflakes ads as decorations together with some metal corners from WOC. Ribbon from Joanna Sheen.

This is the inside. Like you didn't see that? LoL A clean and simple box for this card with just some golden details. Now when you read this I have one of my last days at the hospital and then things goes back to normal for a while again. Then it's time to really prepare for the coming kneesurgery. Yuukki! But I'm determend to enjoy this season as much as possible. Just need to find a way to relax a bit better, to not feel so stressed out. Any ideas? LoL

It's Bearly Mine time again!

Hello people! Hope you have had a wonderful time since last. It's really good to be back again, but I am tired, really tired. Are in the middle of a rehab period at the hospital where I work out a couple of times each day. Yepp! More than once each day, no wonder that I sleep when I get back home.

Oh dear, I lost track of what I was doing here once again. Sorry, back to the challenge over at Bearly Mine Designs. This time we are doing "tis untraditional Christmas" meaning no red or greens. I cheated a tiny bit this time as there is some green in my card, but not too much I hope. LoL

The image is Warmth in the Winter by the PaperShelter. Love this image. The designer papers are from Bearly Mine Designs Christmas Swirls. My flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. Sentiment stamp from Magnolia. Pearls from Bunny Zoe.

Our sponsors this time is these wonderful companies

The PaperShelter challenges

Hello and happy Wendsday to you all! It's time again for a fun and easy challenge over at the Paper Shelter. We are doing it really easy for you all this time as we go for the theme of Anything goes. I expect to see many of you playing with us this week.

I also hope that you visit our challenge blog tomorrow as we have a big surprise up for you very very soon. So stay tune for that!

My creation for this theme is a big one. I have used some of the wonderful things that are a part of the Christmas Wishes. It's filled with stuff that makes it so easy to make candy wrappers, greeting cards with CD's, envelopes, boxes etc. I even made a candle with some of the stuff. Sissors are a great tool! I love how easy it is to use these digisets. It gets done in a few minutes. Wonderful during this time of the year when we all are so very busy.

I also invited a green guest for this project. The dragon card is made with the same little fellow as the other stuff, but he actually lives in the PaperShelter's sister store Folkvangar. I just couldn't help myself, just needed to have him as an ordinary card as well. You find him as a digi at the Folkvangar store. My green friend is paired up with some stunning designer papers from Bearly Mine designs called Christmas Frolics.

As always you can win a voucher worth $20 if you use a TPS image on your creation or three digis of your choice if you use another brand of image. Stunning prizes as always!
So I better sit down and start waiting for all lovely creations that will come around here this week. I know I will be busy commenting!

It's For Fun!

Good morning and hello! When you read this I'm at the hospital working my butt of at a three week rehab period. Hoping that I will feel better and have more energy. I know for sure that I won't be having that during the eves. LoL
So to keep it short and sweet, we are celebrating Christmas over at For Fun this week, so we want you to show us your Christmas cards, just like you have every month that has five Wendsdays in it during the year. And as usual we are sponsored by Michelle Perkett. This time have I used the very sweet Christmas Kisses. The images is such a joy to colour. She's paired up with some old Dovecraft paper and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. Some bakers twine and a snowflake finish the whole thing off.

I do hope you come and join us over at FFC this week. I look forward to see your stunning creations.

Another one for PFP

Even if I know that I have three weeks at the hospital coming up now. Started today and are really tired. I couldn't sleep the other night so another card got made. Nothing relaxes me more than colouring so that's what I did. And when I was finished with that I realized that time was way too much, but keept going anyway. The theme over at PFP is still "swirls and sparkle". New challenge up tomorrow. How fun!

I love this paper pad from Prima. The colours are to die for and it works perfect together with Kraft card stock. I die cutted a few trees like so many other crafters out there. A Magnolia swirl and a bunch of flowers and berries from WOC that I covered with dimond glitter glue. My trees got some glamour dust over them to ad some more sparkle over the card. Over at Craft your passion the theme is anything christmas so I enter there as well. Lili of the Valley are brave and have the theme of Anything goes, I play there as well.

Now however it is time to go to bed, early tonight. A very long day tomorrow. Lots of work outs and new people to meet.

Have a wonderful eve!

Passion for Promarkers

Good afternoon and happy advent! Christmas is almost here. Favourite time of the year. Just love it. So for the challenge over at Passion for Promarkers' theme this week "Swirls and sparkle" I just had to make a Christmas card, again. Over at I love Promarkers the theme is Anything goes so I enter this card there as well.
I have used an image from The PaperShelter, so totally cute. Coloured it with my Letraset Family. Designer papers from Dove craft. Flowers from WOC. Swirls and snowflakes with lots of glitter and so is it on Santas hat and the cute little rabbit as well.

Very short and sweet this as my hands hurts like (not so nice word here). Enjoy your day!

Hello again!

Second post for today and that means PaperShelter time. This week I playing with the A-team again, substituting the whole month of November. Lots of fun of course. This time the theme is Christmas Sparkle (using red, green and gold). That's nice and classic isn't it? The greatest passion of mine is to make Christmas cards so this was right up my lane.

I have used both the digi and the papers from the PaperShelter. The wonderful digi is called "Getting ready for Christmas" and the papers are from the paper pack called Christmas Spirit. Lovely papers in rich red, green and golden colours. Perfect for all those Christmas cards. The banners says happy Christmas in Swedish.

Some card craft candy together with some flowers from Wild Orchid Craft tops the card of. As always I have coloured my image with my Letraset family.

As always there is a voucher up for grabs worth $20 if you is the lucky winner picked by Mr Random. If you are chosen and have been playing with another brand of stamp/digi, then you win 3 digis of your choise. Great that too, isn't it? I can't wait to see what you lovely crafters comes up with for this challenge.

Time for Passion for Promarkers

Good Evening to you all! It's pooring down rain here today. So dark and wet. Shouldn't it be snow that comes down by now? Oh well, to a contrast to all darkness outside; Passion for Promarkers has the theme of White on White this week. Thought I would enter that one, as well as Just Magnolia Hänglar Stänglar which has the theme of ribbons.

A lot of embossing to get some contrast again. I have used  snowflakes and Swiss dots. There is also a bunch of dies used from Magnolia as well. Two big brads with pearls on them is center pieces in the flowers, and around the used Marianne die I put even more pearls from dimension. In the back ground a silver grey and white ribbon from Joanna Sheen.

Enjoy your evening!

A new challenge over at the Paper Shelter as well.

You know it's Maries magical Wendsday again with two posts in one day. Wonder if I ever will get used to this? I impress myself every time. LoL

So this week I am playing with my "own" team, the B team from the Paper Shelter Love you guys! You always make me so proud! As I love winter and snow the theme was simple for this challenge. Snow flakes is our theme this week. They can be on your images, on your paper, as embellishments you name it. I actually wouldn't mind some snow right now, or how about next coming weekend when first of Advent is here. Very early this year. Love this time of the year! Yum!

Ok, back to the important stuff. As always we have a voucher up for grabs if you use a PaperShelter image. It's worth $20. If you enter with another company stamp or no stamp at all you are up for a choice of three images of your choice from the Paper Shelter store. Wonderful isn't it?

My card then. I have used the lovely image called Warm in the winter. The little gal and her kitten is paired up with some designer papers from Bearly Mine Designs called Christmas fun. On the edges and on the flowers I have added "some" heavy gesso from the art store. Wanted some snow effect and it looks fine on the flower but my printed paper "ate" the gesso. Got a little messy look. Oh, anyway flowers are from WOC. The big snow flake is made with a die from Cuttle bug I think. Rest of decos from my stash.

Hope to see you join us over at the Paper Shelter this week.

With love n hugs
Marie

A new challenge over at For Fun

Hello! Hope you are doing a lot better than me. The flu has cought me and I feel totally lost in space. And it's not just me that is sick. Both kids sounds like old mashines and have high fever. This really is the down part with the fall, all infections that starts to "visit".

This week we have a recipe challenge for you all. You have to use One food item, two designer papers and three buttons, eyelets or brads.

The clear Dollar stamps has been kind enough to sponsor this challenge for us and have provided us with a bunch of fun, and cute stamps and sentiments. A big thank you for that.

I have used the ChocolateBox-truffle together with the sentiment Candy is sweet. I loved colouring the image, as it was kind of bold and still some details to it. I paired it up together with some designer papers from Dove craft. Added some buttons from Crafty Emma's store and added a golden border around the image. Also a ribbon from Panduro is added for something a little extra happening.  A very clean and simple card, but all I had energy for this week.

It will be fun to see what all you other people comes up with when joining our challenge. See you over at For Fun.

Long time no seen

Has had a lovely visit from a friend last week, and on top of that both my boys got sick. So nothing much has been done here lately. However, I found a card that I have not put up here yet, so I thought why not?

It's a very clean and simple card. This will probably go over sea when it's time to send out this years X-mas cards, and as I have around 30 pen pals around the world it would be too expensive to decorate them too much. The postage is way too expensive in this country. LoL Money that I could spend of crafting goodies. :) The image is from LOTV and the designer papers are from Bearly Mine Designs; Christmas Swirls. Have just used a metallic "ribbon" in the shape of snow flakes and some flat pearls. The little Christmas buddy is coloured with the letraset family and some polycroms. I enter this card to the challenge over at LOVT where the theme is Creature Comforts.

New challenge at the Paper shelter too

Morning once again! Yes, I know I am back again. The whole month of November I will be double posting all Wendsdays. I'm guest playing over at the A team as well. We lost a dear member of our A team due to lack of time. Strange how much time it takes to live. :) So you'll be seing double of me over at the Shelter for a while.

This week the theme is set to All in Pink! How fun is that? I fell in love with this little ballerina as soon as Veronica sent it over and now was a perfect time to use her. All dressed in pink. I have paired her up with some Nitwit papers that has been laying on my desk for a while. Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and so is the ribbon. Pearls from Bunny Zoe. Sentiment from Magnolia Sweden.

The prize up for grabs is as usual a gift cerificate worth $20 if you use a Paper Shelter image. Three (3) images of your choise if you use a stamp or digi from another company. Lots to play for isn't it? Hope to see you there!

For Fun time again

Morning! It's mid week and it's time for a new challenge over at For Fun.We would like you to thank your military.  Let me tell you this is a really hard challenge when you live in Sweden. We hardly have any military to talk about as the politicians give them less money each year. On top of that this country is calling itself neutral. So with that in mind and nowere to send a military thank you, I made a thank you card that can be sent to anyone. So a thank you card it is. The sentiment says "Good friends make good times better and bad times easier. Thank you for being my friend!"

I kind of covered the whole card with roses around a heart made with spell binders. Then my boys came and thought it needed even more flower and on they went. They are very good at following the lines. :) A piece of lace and some liquid pearls and some half pearls and we was done. The designer paper is from Bearly Mine, and the digi set Paper Lace. The flowers is a mix from WOC and I am roses.

I hope you join in our challenge. If you like me don't have much of a military around, make a thank you card to someone that deserves it.

Love n hugs
Marie

It's fun time!

Hello and good morning! It's finally Wendsday again and time to play with For Fun again. This time we are having a birthday celebration. We would love to see birthday cards for your best friend. I kind of cheeted a tiny bit and did a birthday card for my youngerst niece. Can I say that she is my favourite youngerst niece? LoL

We are sponsored by the lovely Bugaboo once again. This little cutie is called Scene it Brithday Bears. That's why my card is for my niece. The image is so adorable and what could fit a little one year old better than a bunch of bears? OK, back to my card again. The image is coloured with promarkers. The designer papers are from Dovecraft. The letters are from Prima. I totally love them. So stylish and perfect size. I need some more of those. The little cup cake is a brad that I had for ages.

I hope that you come on over to For Fun and join us for this simple and fun challenge.

A new Christmas card

A good afternoon to you all! I'm back after being in a foggy world for some weeks now. The kids are home as day care is closed today and now they are playing with a friend that came by. First time he is here and they are having a blast at the moment. Makes it so much easier for me. I can sit here and type this for example. LoL

OK, I have a card for you as well. I followed the lovely sketch from Papertake Weekly. So good to work with, I have prepared a few more cards with that design. :) Getting closer to finish my 50 X-mas card each card I make now. It's "just" 25 left now. Then there is my own. Hmm maybe go all in digital with them this year? I am also entering the card to the challenge over at Christmas Inspirations where the theme is die cuts and punches.

I have used a lovely LOTV image from last year. Totally adore those winter bears. Love to colour them and they are in a great size as well. Can make some smaller cards with them as well. That's my cup of tea. :) I have used a snowflake from Magnolia together with some grunge stamps from Stempleglade. Flowers from Wild Orchid and fence die from Magnolia. The designer paper is from NitWit collections called Mr and Mrs Santa if I remeber right. Love them to bits, the colours are right up my alley at the moment. I have also splashed on some extra thick gesso for snow structure here and there. Well, all over the card as it looks now. :)

Have a wonderful day! I am so glad that I am back in this world again, not the foggy blurry place I've been in the last couple of weeks. Today life is good!

Love n hugs
Marie

Have like earlier said, a smaller mountain of X-mas cards to make and this is one of the versions I'm currently working on. I don't want to get bord so I try to do different things. This one turned out classy and elegant in my own opinion. :) The best part is that it's maintly made out of scraps, just like it should be. :)

I have used the new snow flake stamp from Magnolia on craft paper, put some bling in the middle. Used my favourite x-mas sentiment stamp for the lower panel that is backed with cs found in my scrap box. The rain deer is made with one of T.H. Bigz die from last year. Used it on some old grunge paper that I saved from some box, covered it with another pieze of scaps and stamped on it with a Prima stamp. Nice and easy, and it does make it possible to make another 35 cards or so for Christmas. :)

We're having fun again!

Good morning and welcome to my For Fun post for this week. This week we're doing Anything Halloween. I think I have made for Halloweenish cards this year and I don't know anyone in this country celebrating it. Saving them for better times. :)

rsdETSY

This week we are sponsored by Rick St. Dennis. And the prize is a sheet of Halloween digis. You see most of the images on my fellow teamies cards over at the For Fun blog.

As always my image is coloured with my Letraset Family. I have given the the image some new surroundings in the for of flowerish stamps from MME and Stempelglade. The Designer papers are from freebees from Bearly Mine design, so if you are interested in them just click the button on the right. Flowers are a mix and match from WOC, Joanna Sheen and I am roses. Some have I given a new colour with the markers. Metal corners are also from WOC the cat from Pagoni. Hope you jump right over to the For Fun blog and join us in our halloween celebration!

It's Bearly Mine time again!

Such wonderful day and such smashing start of the day with a new challenge over at Bearly Mine Challenges. A little harder challenge for you this time. Our theme is Anything but a card! How is that for a challenge? There is alot of things that can be done for this challenge. How about a Christmas decoration, or for halloween? Alter a box, a candle etc. You know what I mean, there is nothing you can't do, well no a card then. :)

I chose to decorate a gift box for this challenge. I bought a set of three at Panduro quite a long time ago and this challenge made me start taking care of them. I used designer papers from Christmas Glee and resized them to a fitting size. That is the perfect thing with digital elements, you can get almost any size you want. Love that! My box is really tiny, only about 7,5 cm sides. I made a very simple decoration on top of the lid. I used flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and a stamp from Magnolia. It kind of wishes happy X-mas. I also added some lace to the lid to make it a little more decorated. Tons of fun, now I just have to work on the other two. Have not decided who will get the box or what I will put in it yet. Maybe a neckless, or some delish chocolate. Have some time to deside still. :)

Just as always we have some wonderful sponsors offering prizes just for you who takes part in our challenge here at BMC. This week we're sending a big thank you to these companies

Late Monday afternoon...

...and I wonder where the day has gone? It was here just a second ago. Some days just disappear on me. Wonder how that can be? LoL

Made another card the other night. Yepp! Not much sleep this night either, new doctors appointment on Friday. Hope there is some other med I can try instead of this yurrky one.

This time I've made a card with one of the new Sweet Christmas Dreams stamps from Magnolia. Decided to go with a back ground stamp this time. Was in the mood for some brown but ended up using more orange browns than the pure brown ones. Don't ask me why. That happens when you make cards late at night. The theme over at Passion for Promarkers this week is stars so I enter my card there. DP are from Bearly Mine's Christmas Dreams. Flowers from Wild Orchid Craft and Joanna Sheen. Rest of the decos from my stash.

Christmas time again

Another X-mas card coming your way. It's like I can't help myself, but I do have a goal with all these X-mas cards. I need a bunch for about 35 myself and then I kind of sold 50 before they were even made. That means I need to keep busy. I don't even dare to count how many I got so far. Affraid of the answer. :)

OK then, my card: my image from Lili of the Valley. Looooveeee to colour this little bear. So much fun, a fairly quick. And how needs quick? Yepp! That would be me. I followed the sketch from Pink Ink Sketches as they are really lovely to work with.

I used some old designer papers from Dovecraft and some ribbon I bought from Panduro a few years ago. Why I tell this? The ABC Christmas Challenge has the theme of Use old stash and so I have. Both in the papers and the stamp as it is from last years Christmas collection from LOTV.

I made the flowers with the new helle.... somthing flowers and it's a new die from Magnolia. They are so cute. I have also used poinsenta die from Marianne under the helle-flowers. Pearls from BunnyZoe as usual.

Now time for some TV again and some colouring...Need to keep busy! :)

A Magnolia card for a birthday boy

Hi there! Sitting here while the kids are toring the house down. It sounds like it anyway. Promissed them a surprise if they could leave me alone for as long as it takes me to finish this off. At the moment it doesn't sound so good. Home alone with the little monsters until Sunday when my partner in "crime" gets back home from a buisness trip. At the moment if feels like he will be gone forever. Of corse my bXXXXX body woun't play fair with me either, so on top of being alone, I have pain that I don't even wish for my worst enemy.
The insides upper part of the card.

So as my olders is going to a five year olds birthday party on Sunday and W didn't want to make the card this time I have spend the day working with it between contacting doctors of all kinds.

Here is the inside that will be completed with a white circle to write on, when I have figured out what to write. A few days left to do that. :)
Have used soccer Edwin and the goal scenery from the Winner takes it all collection. Coloured the little guy in the local teams colours. Used the Magnolia soccer designer paper together with another green one that is abit older. Raised the laces inside the card, but made them flat outside not to take the focos from the main image. And I kind of needed the space. :) Now I just need to write down the birthday greeting and maybe add another "5" on the inside. I play along with the Just Magnolia Hänglar challenges witch is distressing this week and at the TOMIC challenge the theme is set to sporty + a sketch. Thanks for that theme, I had a hard time trying to figure out what to do for one the best buddies in W's life at this point.
