Bunny time!

Hello, hello, helllo! What have we here? Ahh, a new card for a For Fun challenges. This week we are daring you to use Bunnies on your cards, but it can't be the Easter bunny, OK?

We are sponsored by KnK this week and the whole team got a buch of Bunny images to work with. And if I recall right that's the price for this weeks winner. The images we have used over at the For Fun challenges.

This time I have coloured with my polychrome pens and we are not friends yet but working on it. The sentiment is from LOTV, flowers from my stash. Designer papers are from Dove craft. I love the colours in this paper pack. They are so warm and cosy.

Hope to see you over at For Fun this week.

Babies babies everywhere

Hello there!
I am back again with a new card, would be a little crazy to show off one you have already seen wouldn't it? LoL Oh well, I am kind of feeling a little drunk by my new pills so bare with me here will you? I think I have to keep this one short and sweet this time.

My card, that's why I am here and hopefully you too. :) I have used an image from Joanna Sheen and coloured it with distress inks. Strange that it's easier to hold on to a brush than a marker when the fingers are in bad mood, but it works for me. Was a long time since I used the inks, really should use them more as it is pretty fun to colour with them. A different look compared to the markers. Flowers are from WOC and Kort og Godt. The designer papers are from Bearly Mine Designs and from the sets Love Dreams, Lacey Vintage Dream and Just Plain. Have also used a piece of scrap and can't remember from which set it comes.

This card is made for our new challenge over at Bearly Mine Design Challenges, which has the theme of Babies of any kind this week. I do hope you find it nice and easy and come and play with us. You see on my card that I choose to use a kitten and a duckling. Babies to you know, just from the animal kingdom. I have take over as the team leader for the B team over at Bearly Mine after Jackie who did a splendid job for us over there.

Oh we have a sponsor as well. That part can we not forget, who is it this week? It is Donna from Bearly Mine Designs herself that is giving away two digital paper packs of your choise if you are the lucky winner of the challenge.

Well my friends, I better let you go to your crafting area to start on your card. Can't wait to come and visit you all.

Love n hugs
Marie

A Magnolia card...

Happy Monday! Cheerful hey? I know, a gal can pretend you know. But it feels really good to be home alone today. Head ace  and so tired that I hardly know my own name. I've tried to stay awake for as long as I could now. Just thought that I would blog this card of mine first. Then a little nap.

Last night I inked up this dancing Tilda that has been living in my big box of unused Magnolias. It was time one of them saw the daylight so here she is. For some reason, don't ask me why have I coloured with my flexmarkers. I guess it's good that they get to work as well. And it was so fun using a brush again. Really should get out of that Marker's comfort zone a bit more often.

Miss Tilda is paired up with some papers from Bearly Mine Design. They are from the Just Plain set and from the Lacey Vintage Dream. A piece of scrap is also used. Flowers are a mix from I am Roses, Wild Orchid Crafts and Kort og gotd. Lace and metal corners are also from WOC. Tons of chrystal stickles and some die cuts made with Magnolia dies finish this creation off.

A normal Wendsday

Morning! I am back again! I have another project of mine to show of, fun isn't it? You who knows me know that this mean I am having a new challenge up and running over at the Paper Shelter today. So yes, it's the B team's time to show what they go for. If you pop on over you'll see they are the best.

Today have I used some designer papers from Prima that I have hundreds of. I love the the Prima pads, tons of papers in stunning colours. They are just to die for and I hardly use them. I just look at them because I love the colours. LoL Nutsy? Yes I know but they make me happy, but I will try to use up more of my stash as it's getting very crowded here in my crafting room. The delish Prima paper is paired up with some flowers from WOC, ribbon from Joanna Sheen. The bling stones are from WOC as well.

My totally super sweet image is from the Paper Shelter of corse as it's made for that challenge. It's called Dew Drops and can be found here. She is coloured with my usual Letraset family. Some glossy accent is layed on the dew drops to make them look more wet.

I really do hope you will all come and join us for our new challenge that is "Wings and Things". A very easy challenge and fun to. Just take the jump over to the Paper Shelter challenge blog. I'll meet you there!

A different one over at For Fun

Hello happy crafters! I am back again after some slacking. I'm still feeling down and every day feels like a battle. Trying out new meds at this moment that have given me headaces that is out of this world. Lucky for me there is crafting and work outs at the gym. Since my head is really killing me today I keep this very short.

Our theme at For Fun this week is Anything but a card. And we in the team has taken this very seriously. You find everything from knitting to I don't know what on the challenge blog. We are really nosy and want to see what you do more than paper crafting. LoL But  LO's would be welcome as well as altered stuff and so on.

I have choosen to show one of my cross stitched pictures that took me forever to finish even if I had more time on my hands then, and better hands as well. LoL I do still cross stitch every now and then but not as often as I did. This one is stitched on cotton fabric and if I had seen that when I picked it in the store I never would have bought it. But I am so proud to have finished it and have actually another one on the go. The motive is from Lanarte. The card making and manage my team take some time. Anyway, I do hope you like it. And I for sure would love to see what you all do to fill that non card making time.

A new Wendsday challenge

Good morning! It's already Mid week, isn't that great? It's only a few days way from a new wonderful weekend. Don't you just love these short weeks?

And now on to why we are here. It's time to create again! This week over at For Fun we have the theme of Tags. Either you make a tag, or you put a tag or two on your creation. Easy isn't it? Thought so!

We are sponsored by my friends over at the Paper Shelter and up for grabs is a voucher worth $20 to spend in the store. So many lovely digi images and paper packs. Thanks Veronica and Pedro for the lovely prize!

I have used the very lovely Cirque. I kind of ran out of time and lost track of the days so the pre coloured image is used together with the fabby backing paper that comes with the image. I printed the wonderful image on it's own and did some cutting. Glued it on the stunning designer paper that I have only resized and put it on the hand made tag. My first I might add. I have not been a big fan of tags but needed to challenge myself to make a bigger tag than just add one to a card, and I had fun. LoL The colours on this DP is to die for! They are little more muted than shows here. Totally fantastic. If I could I would paint the basement room for the kids like this but I guess that I wouldn't get very far with these hands of mine.

I decorated with some fethers, a whole bunch of flowers, a spiraly thing from Magnolia and some ribbon. That was it. I have not even put glitter on it. Have I really done this? I always have glitter on my flowers...

There is also a new challenge up from the A team at the PaperShelter, if I am not wrong we are talking button and bows for the challenge there today. I must pop on over and see that they all have done. Hope you do it to, you might even do both challenges? Have fun!

Love n hugs

A bearly Mine challenge

Hello and good morning! I am back again with a new card for you to look at. How many days in a row now? Three or four? Pretty well done by me. LoL

OK, since I am a bit in a hurry I try to keep it sweet and short. For this card I have used a Sarah Kay image. It's from a year or two back and don't remember it's name. It's coloured with my distress inks as I felt they are just standing there and looking at me with a desperate eye; use us, use us. So that's what I did. This little darling is paired up with some lovely papers from Bearly Mine Designs, just as it should be. The papers is from the set of Mini dots and Delicious Delight It's made for the new challenge we have there for you. Our theme is to Use fruit on your card. How is that for a challenge? I think you can get away with berries too but you better check the challenge blog. LoL

The card also has a "ribbon" from Bunny Zoes, a charm from Pagoni and flowers from Panduro and Wild Orchid Crafts. The sentiment came with some free stamps from a magazine a year or two ago. Finally put it to use. LoL

The prize up for grabs this week is 5 (five) digis from Whimsy Stamps. You get to choose what you want. How fab isn't that? Do you think I can get to play along?

So that's it from me for today. I hope you join us for our Tootie Fruitie challenge. I will be wonderful and fun to see what you can come up with.

There is also a design call going on over at the challenge blog starting today. Check it out here for more info.

Ps: It's good to be back with the old English again. It felt really wired to write in Swedish here the last couple of days. But it was so much fun to take part in some Swedish challenges. It was a fun and lovely CC over at Scraplagret. I will for sure try to take part in these again. And I really should be doing more Nordic/Swedish challenges... Maybe some day...

...Och igen...

Hej igen!

Stämpeln är från Lili of the Valley.

I'm back again! I have been working hard this Easter have I not? LoL It's a third challenge over at Scraplagrets CC. Have used one of the new LOTV stamps and coloured it with my Letraset family. Paired it up with som DP from Maja Design and then on with some flowers and other stuff that was lying around on my desk. Have a lovely eve!

Love n hugs,
Må väl!

Påsk Crop igen...

Hello again! I'm back with another card for the CC over at Skraplagret. This time a colour challenge. Only use Green, White, Black, Blue, Yellow and red, in other words the colour of the logo for Scraplagret. You also had to cut something out from a designer paper and one of by butterflies are cut out. My b....y hands don't want to work with me today, so I had to keep that part to a minimum. I had a totally different design in mind when I started this card but life and kids happened on the way and I kind of made a simple version of my minds version. Hmmm, did that make sense in any way?

I have used an image from The Paper Shelter called the lovely Blossom, a very sweet image in my mind. The designer papers are from Bo Bunny, flowers from Wild Orchid Craft and maybe some from I am roses as well. Butterflies from Altheas Mix when that store still was around. Blossom is coloured with my Letraset family. The flowers and image has also gotten a coat or two with stickles of different kind.

Hej igen!

Have a lovely day!

Påsk Crop

Hello and happy Easter to you all! I am back with a card to show again. There is a crop going on at Skraplagret and I thought I give it chance as I still couldn't sleep last night. Hopefully doing better tonight. Anyway, this card is made following a sketch from one of the challenges over at Scraplagret. I have used stamps from LOTV and Hero Arts (the fence from my very first real stamp set). Still love those stamps even if I don't use them that often. The designer papers are from "A boy's life" from Eco Park. They are just to die for. I've coloured with my Letraset family as always. Please tell me why I always go to the aqua colours even if I have planned not to? LoL Letter (foam) stickers from Panduro.

Mums helt enkelt!

Ok, it's over and out from me for tonight. Hopefully some better sleep tonight than last.

Love n hugs

Paper Shelter time!

It's Wendsday again and I am back with a new creation to show off. It's the B-teams time again to inspire you all to create something that you have use for during Easter. So the theme is set to Anything - With Easter in mind. We know that it's a little late but you might have the time to create a LO, a little basket for candy or maybe a late Easter card. Anyway, we want to see what you can come up with.

I have made a little Bunny basket that I want to show you today. I have used the image called The most adorable bunny from the Paper Shelter. Coloured her with my Letraset Family in grey and pink. A great combination in my world. LoL I have used digital designer papers from NitWit collections and printed it on both sides of the paper so that I get the pattern both inside and out. Then some decorations with flowers and some lace. A little gift for someone during Easter. This one is filled with candy, maybe I should keep it for myself?

As always we have our $20 voucher up for grabs if you use a TPS image. Playing with another brand gives you the chance of three PaperShelter images, if you are the lucky winner, drawn by Mr Random.

So my friends I leave you with this and goes to the bus to get some work out for my knee. A never ending story.

Have a wonderful Easter if I get nothing more up here before then.

Love n hugs
Marie

PS: If you are looking for our For Fun Challenges this week, we are on vacation. Helen thought we should rest for a week. Thank you for that!

Challenges for my little basket

Monday 2 April 2012

Because it's fun

For the first time in ages have I made a card just because I enjoy making them. It has been a very long and hard period in my life with many of my illnesses playing games with me. I still have problems holding my markers and to sit still for more than a few minutes. My body is filled with adrenaline and I "jump" from one thing to another. The feeling of electrical shots going trow my skin has started to ease a little and that makes things so much easier. It's still there but not as bad as last weet that was horrable. Still trying to find some clever doctor that can help me out. I would prefere it if he/she could do it without poisoning me with meds. My body doesn't like meds, makes me really sick. At the moment I am off all pain killers most of the time and just take the ones that eases the signals from my very active brain. LoL

OK, good to get that out of my body. Now I just need to finish this post about my card like it should have been from the beginning. Why am I always losing control and write more that I should? Oh well, that's who I am. When I start to write, I can't stop. Maybe I should use that more when I write my letters. That's what I have planned for the afternoon, some letter should be answered. Starting to pile up on my again. Oh boy, I am doing it again, ain't I?

Back to buisness. My card then! I saw this super sweet Pip from the Easter collection of digital images over at Sugar Nellie and I couldn't recist. It's so sweet and I never send Easter cards. Oh dear! Guess someone has to do that this year. LoL I have paired her up with some wonderful, lovely designer papers from Bo Bunny's Contry garden. It's to die for. I love these wonderful fresh papers. I also managed to make an inside to this card. Swedish for Happy Easter and some Prima Flowers and leafs made with a punch set from Nellie Snellen I think. A super investment! My best for a very long time.

There is also a mega big flower cluster with flowers from Wild Orchid Craft. The metal corner comes from them as well. I used a doily behind the image and some netted ribbon from Bunny Zoe. They are fabby to dress a card with love them! The butterflies did I buy from Altheas Mix before she closed down her wonderful store.

I would like to enter this card to the WOC challenge that has the theme of Things with Wings (My chickies and butterflies should cover that) and also to the challenge over at the Sugarbowl where there is a sketch as always and them with dots and spots I believe.

Have a wonderful day!

With love n hugs
Marie
