A little card again

A good morning to you  all! Hope you are feeling a lot better than I am today. My shoulders are killing me and therefore I have not been very active on my blog lately. Just breathing hurts... I am so tired of this and today, I have a meeting with the employment office as well. Oh, how much I long for that and so inspired I am. Not! I have no clue on what to do with all this pain and the doctors as usual finds nothing, and still I can hardly move.

Ok, feeling better now when I have been complaining a bit, a tiny bit at least. It's time for a new challenge over at Bearly Mine Challenges, and this week we have a simple one for you Add a sentiment! Yep! You only have to add some text to your card to be able to play with us.

For my card I have used Bearly Mine Design's Christmas Light digi set and let them be a card together with the lovely Christmas Shopping from Kenny K's. As always a joy to colour in with my Letraset family. My sentiment is from You Do! and says Happy Christmas in Swedish. Flowers and ribbon are from WOC, snowflake die from Whimsy, doily made with Cheery Lynn die.

Our sponsor this week is Kenny K's and the prize up for grabs is 5 digis of winner's choice. Wonderful prize isn't it? So what are you waiting for? Come on and join us for our challenge this week.

A scary card... and some happy news!

Good morning friends and crafters. I am finally back again. Fighting a should that has some kind of inflammation at this time, so I should not really be doing this at all. But can't help myself just as always, but I am trying to take it a little easier at least. LoL

So I have a card to show but I think you should close your eyes. It's very bright and the only thing close to good on this one is the colouring. However the image is really cute and she is one of the new ones from the Paper Shelter called Adorable Miss Hall and she is found over at the Paper Shelter store. She is coloured with my Letraset family. Put together with a bunch of designer papers from Bearly Mine Design from the Designer Extreme CD III. Lovely goodies to be found there. A whole flower shop is used first to decorate and then to cover up a paw print from one of my cats.

Probably should have left it as he then walk right into the glue for the feather so now there is some traces left of him still. Dear crafting Good, why have you given me a cat who can't stay away from the crafting table? Isn't it the glue, or glitter he walks right into the distress inks. Hopeless case! However the golden glitter smearing that is left, I have done all by myself. My hand started to shake so terrible, so now I back on my normal doze of pills again. It was no good idea trying to reduce them at this point. Hopefully more stable in a few days.

As always there is a gift voucher up for grabs as first prize if you use a TPS image on your creation. Three digis of your choice if you play with another brand.

And then there was some happy news. Thrilled to have fond out that I was top three over at the Wild Orchid Crafts Challenges last time. Got there with my handbag card. Big surprize and for sure gave me my mojo back, at least a little. :) Thank you so much for that!

And then good news part II. About a month back I found out that I am now a part of the lovely team over at Crafty Card Makers team. Woohoo! Thank you Lin and the rest of the lovely gang for taking me into your blogging family. I will have links up to all the gals as soon as my shoulder allows me. I can't wait to get started and thrilled to join in.

Love n hugs
Marie

Ps: Remind me that I shouldn't use that much orange in my creations in the future. The only one happy about that is my youngest son. LoL He happens to have orange as his fave colour, but I think I had that as mine too when I was four years old. LOL

And yet another card

Good morning to you all. Here it's a bright and sunny day, but oh so cold yet. I'm trying to pass time before my doctors appointment. Oh dear, my b-y arms hasn't gotten over yesterdays shaking so this will be short. Maybe good that I have to see the doc today. Here it turns from one minute to another, felt nothing of the shaking earlier but now it's nutsy.

This card is made with a sweet santa from Sugar Nellie range. He is colored with my letraset family in brown colors. My designer papers are from Prima and My Minds Eve, one of the Lost and found pads. Decorations; flowers from WOC and I am Roses, doily made with CL die, charm from Bildmalarna, sentiment from YouDo, snowflakes made with a Whimsy die, some flowersoft for the santa clothers, glitterations around the card, gemstones from Anitas and of course some Frosted Lace glitter glue from Rangers on the flowers like (almost) always. The snowflake is altered with my markers, silver didn't look too good in my brown and golden creation. LoL

A new little card

Good morning, I am back with a new card to show today. This time I have made a LOTV card for the Lili's Little fairies challenge "Black Magic". I have been doing so many pale cards lately that I thought it was fun with some black and bright pinks and silver to that. The little penguin is coloured with my Letraset family. Totally adore my markers, and other colour mediums as well. LoL But for some reason I always go back to the markers.

Enough about that. The designer papers are from and old stack from DCWV if I don't remember wrong. Have not used it for years but I looked in all boxes filled with different designer papers and this popped up, I had forgotten all about it. Oh well, so was it with my gemstones as well. They hide in a box and now found those to and got them to work for me. My snowflakes are made with a Whimsy Die. I just adore these snowflakes. Just a little big, why does everything has to be that? Big I mean.

Now I have to leave the computer as my hands are not working with me today. Weather change, it's a lot colder even if the sun is shining. The air is much more crisp than before. Hope it stays this way then I might get some rest from the pain in the coming days. On the other hand I am going to the doctor tomorrow and then it can be good with some pain. LoL

Also a big thank you to the lovely DT over at Passion for Promarkers that picked my ballerina card for their top five this week. Thanks so much gals. It means the world to me. You are the ones who got me into this blogging stuff from the beginning.

Remember to be grateful for what you got and what will come your way. Life is good even when it's hard...

Love n hugs
Marie

A good day

Hello there everyone, I hope you have a good day with lots of smiles. I hope that for me as well as I have been feeling so low a few weeks now. Hopefully it's only the effect of me going of the anti depressive a couple of months ago, and that I will be back to my normal self soon. The psychologist told me it could take at least a couple of months more before I get stable. And let me tell you it feels like forever right now. Didn't thought it could get any worse after last week. I was wrong and we leave it with that, ok?

Luckyly for me I have been bright enough to colour in a whole bunch of images when I had my good days, so I have used one of those for this card. It's paired up with some lovely designer papers from Bearly Mine Design. This set is called Christmas Wishes and I just love the blue, brown and white together. My image is from Tickled Pink, but the name of it I have forgotten. I have coloured her with my Prisma and Polychrome pens.

To give the card some decoration I have used a Prima flower together with a bunch of rose buds and small roses from Wild Orchid Craft. The spiral and feathers are from Magnolia, Sweden. Pearls from Bunny Zoe.

The card is made for our new challenge over at Bearly Mine Challenges this week and our theme is very simple this time. Anything goes it is, so do come on and play with us. Our sponsor is Donna over at Bearly Mine Design. Two sets of your choice is up for grabs so hurry up and join us.

Love n hugs
Marie

Monday 10 September 2012

Monday eve

and now I am officially tired! LoL Good start of the week, right? After me and mum was on the bike ride work out last Friday I have been very tired in my legs. I think they are about half a ton each in weight, but we had fun. Well mum had fun and that's the most important thing. It means she will go with me again. It's fun to have her to work out with; we nag, we cheer, we curse and then we start over again. Had another work out today and now I can't feel my legs. So, so very tired. Maybe I should start to listen to my physiotherapist and slow down a little. I have topped this evening off by carry soil bricks that we got from my parents as they are redoing their garden. I didn't do much of the carrying I think my four year old and six year old did more than me, but they have the energy for it. They are sleeping really well right now and I don't look forward to tomorrow morning. They will be so tired they too.

And now to my card for today. I have not shown this one here yet. I took part in a designer call here in Sweden and it didn't work out. Maybe next time but now I can show what I have done here instead. Always good to have a couple of cards stand by when the mojo isn't working for you like it should. I have pieces ready on my table to just jump in to a form of a card, and it just don't happen. Wonder why?

This little stamp is from... arrggh I can't remember. It's totally lost in my poor head. Anyway, she was a must when it came to creating two cards. She is coloured with my Letraset family. Flowers and the rest of the decorations comes from Molly's Scrapbooking. A really wonderful internet store here in Sweden. The designer papers are from Magnolia, bought at Mollys. All stuff used here was a must for the card. It was a special kit made up that you should compete with. Anyway, I had fun doing it and that's the most important thing. Now I have to take care of my wrist that I hurt when we picked up the soil bricks. No, I didn't drop one, I fell of a low wall with a lose brick on it and stopped the fall with my wrist. So clever! It was only a few decimeters high and it would have been better to just fall without trying to stop it. Typical! Good that I have a doctors appointment on Thursday. LoL

Wednesday 5 September 2012

Hi again!

Good afternoon to you all! Hope the day has been great and you have enjoyed your life. I've been sleeping which I sooo needed. I am heading right into a period of pain and if I am lucky I can stop it before it get terrible. Keep your fingers crossed. Resting and work outs is what the coming month will be about, and hopefully this will stop. Well, I need some help from the weather too, it can't be to moist or wet, then I will be toast! LoL

I have another card to show today. It's a shaped card and I am really bad at making them and need to exercise that way lot more than I have. Not to talk about my bad hand cutting skills. LoL Oh well, take it for what it is and the thought is what's counts right? I got a friend that enjoys handbags, clothes and shoes so I had to make something like that for her birthday and this is the result of that.

The image used is one of the older ones from Lili of the Valley. Coloured with my Letraset family. My designer paper are left overs from a Panduro Tilda pad. Flowers, lace and ribbon is from Wild Orchid Crafts. Swirly die is from Magnolia and the image is cut with spellbinder dies. A pearl maker from Waco is used around the bag and some glitter glue from Rangers and an old button finish it all of. Hope it doesn't scare you away from my blog. I don't know what to think about this creation. But hey, a challenge is always a challenge and this time I gave myself one.

Take care and see you back soon

Love n hugs
Marie

I am back!

Hi there and welcome to my little corner of the world! I am so tired today and my legs are so heavy. I must be weighing a ton, at least. Oh well, that's the prize you pay to work out! It's a good pain, don't get me wrong. But I wasn't prepared for this stiffness and heavyness. I do hope it will be gone by Friday when I will do a little indoor biking with my mum. First time ever for here, second time for me. I am actually high on the thought that I managed to convince her that this was a good idea. Let me get back to you on Friday to see how it all went. LoL

And here comes a card as well! Yepp! I have been at it again and this time I have used the Paper Shelter image Licence to Frost found here. Isn't she a doll? I love this pretty image and for once I am really pleased with my colouring. This time I have used my dear old Family of Letraset. They have by the way a brand new waterbased neon marker set out. I will try to use them on an image soon.

My designer papers are from Bearly Mine Design and from the digi kit Spring Mist if I remember right. I have even made some dry embossing on the spotty paper. Also joining in is a bunch of dies from Magnolia, Marianne design, Spellbinders and Cheeryl Lynn. Flowers are from Wild Orchid Craft, I am Roses and The Ribbon Girls. Metal corners are from WOC as well. Butterflies from Altheas Mix. Stickles and gesso is also used on the card. Hope you like it.

And the card is made for our new challenge at the Paper Shelter where we have the theme of Tag! You're it! With that said we want to see at least one tag on your card, or you make a tag and decorate it. It's up to you. I do hope you'll come and join in the fun! We have also got an extra $10 to our voucher, so now it's worth a wooping $30! It can be yours if you play with a TPS image in our challenges, otherwise you have the chance of winning three (3) digis of your choice. That's lovely too! Come and let us see all the smashing TPS images out there, I know you have them!

Monday 3 September 2012

And so a new week begins

Evening to you all. Hope you have had a really good day. Here it has been ok, started off with snozzing a bit since my partner was home sick. He got up and gave the kids breakfast. I am so tired in the mornings as my sleeps are not too good, so I am very grateful for that. Then off on our bikes for kindergarten and school with the kids. Then some breakfast and then off to the gym for a work out with dear old mum. (But don't tell her that I called her old) LoL.

Now the kids are sleeping again and I have finished editing almost four hundred photos from 2010 and sent them of to the photo lab. They have a good offer with less than half prize at this moment. I am almost at 2012 with the kids photos now! Jiippiii! Never thought I get this far but who am I to give it up? I love watching my old photo albums and hope my kids will too one day.

And now to a card. This is another one of the summer cards for the teachers in the kindergarten. I have a few left to show, and since there is still a few summer challenges out there I thought I get one up tonight. This is a Fay Whittaker image coloured with distress inks. The designer papers are from Maja design. Charm comes from Bildmålarna if I'm not totally lost. A very simple card, just as it tends to be when you start way too late to create and you have many to make. :)

Anyway, this is all from me for today. Take care and enjoy what tomorrow brings!

Love n hugs
Marie
