Patch work

Morning and hello! The cold days are back in the house and I don't mean it as Brr- it's cold outside. I mean the illnesses. It's so fun to feel fairly much ok, still in tons of pain but ok. If I keep the computer time to a minimum it works fairly good and I can deal with my life ok. It works as I know that I will have better days.

It's time for a new challenge over at PFP today and the theme is set to "Patchwork". I was lucky to have a fitting image already coloured up that I can use for this creation. Told you my hands/arms/shoulders are only working partly when they feel like it. :) I had a tiny bit of a struggle with the theme but I think I made it harder than it has to be.

I am sorry but I don't remember from where I have gotten the image but it's cute as a button isn't it? I have used a paper pad in rich warm colours to match the image. It's from Dove craft I think and it's called sugar and spice. Lots of die cutting and doodling to make some stiches for the patches. I also used a net to give a little more interest to the card. As well as a few buttons to add to the sewing theme that this ended up to be, at least in a way. The sentiment says "Thanks" in Swedish.

Sponsoring this challenge is Little Claire Designs with this lovely prize.

Ok, short and sweet today. I hope to see you over at the PFP blog and come play with us. It's great fun to be challenged like this from time to time. And all you have to do really is to patch a few pieces together and you should be fine. :)

Birthday with sentiment

Morning and hello! Hope everything is fine with you all. Here it's painful but cheerful. Yes I know, that really doesn't mix too well. But the fall is here and I love this time of the year. I go into depression when summer arrives but my brother got the blues now when fall is coming. I so love the air around this time of the year. It's pure oxygen. The best and with that should the energy come back. In two weeks I'll get some shots in my shoulders hopefully and I might be back a tiny bit like normal. Lets hope so.

This time we're coming to an end on our term of our TPS gang and a few designers have their last challenge this week so do pay them a visit. That means two empty spots on my B-team. Anyone fancy designing for the Paper Shelter, send me an e-mail. You find the address somewhere here on on the blog. :) I will not have it posted in the post.

For my card this week have I been using the cutest little image called Autumn joy. Super cute old fashion image. As I said earlier I do love my fabby tastic autumns and that means this image is too cute not to use. I know I end up with a card, the third in a row with the same paper pad and colour scheme but so it may  be.

I have used a bunch of dies from Magnolia DooHickey to decorate together with some dew drops and pearls. The letter stickers are from Panduro.

The theme this week is Birthday card with a sentiment, so please don't forget to use that birthday sentiement on your card, otherwise you will not be in the prize draw.

And as always when the Paper shelter is involved we have a gift vocher up for grabs if you play with our brand. It's worth $30, playing with another brand gives you the chance of winning 3 digis of your choice.

Ok my friends. I hope you like my little creation and that you will join us in the fun over at the Paper Shelter. Remember that you don't have to use a TPS image to play with us, at least not your two first creations each week. Joining three times needs at least one creation with a TPS product.

Ps: Sorry for getting the photo up so late, something has been wrong and still is with the internet. I closes down all the time.

A fairy Christmas

Morning and hello! Hope you're all doing ok, me in a bad headache again, feeling really crappy. Oh well, hopefully it will pass someday. I might think it has something to do with my meds...

It's time for a new challenge over at Winter Wonderland today and the theme is set to "A fairy Christmas". That means we want to see some fabby Christmas fairies on your creations this week.

I have used an oldie from Sugar Nellie but I don't remember the name of it. I have coloured with my distress markers for a change and guess if I am glad I had this done in time. One of my cats was in a really bad mood yesterday and managed to get a claw in one of my fingers. Under the nail, guess who's writing with one hand today?

The designer paper is from Panduro, a few years back. I like the aquarell look to them. I have used a few dies, both basic die cut shapes and little shaped birdies to go with that and some hearts. Gemstones, flowers, glitter glue, feather, glas beads etc is used to decorate the card. Hope you like it.

Sponsoring this challenge is who are offering the winner a $20 voucher.

I hope you will come and play with us during this fun challenge.

All the trimmings

Morning and hello! Another week is on the go and that means I have a new little creation to show off. This weeks theme from Passion for Promarkers is "All the trimmings". That means we want to see all your fantastic creations where you have coloured with your Letraset markers of any kind + that we want to see ribbon, twine, lace etc. Nice and easy isn't it?

My image is from Power Poppy and is called Gerbera Daisies, but for me they turned into sunflowers. A good flower can do little of both. LoL I love the wonderful flowers that this company makes both as stamps as well as digis. If you have not been there, do pay them a visit. Lots of wonderful flowers.

As mostly coloured with my letraset markers and this time also some prisma pens to add yet a little more deept to the shadows on the card. I used the same paper pad as last week for my TPS card, the pad is from Bo Bunny and it's called Forever Fall. I added a web ribbon in brown, then yet another web ribbon and into that have I woven some twine for a middle colour between the brown and beige.

My sunflower charm is attatched to a piece of ribbon made into a bow. Stickles glitter glue in golden rod is added around all panels. Sparkle of fall. A piece of camera film with a sentiment added to it saying "fall" is made with "rub ons" from Letraset. A few brown cream coloured buttons that I have covered with inka gold is also added. The same process was done to the charm as it stood out too much with it's silver colour to this golden creation. To finish it all of have I used a few golden pearls.

Sponsoring this week is Polka doodles and the prize up for grabs is. I will get back to you with that info.

Anyway, I look forward to seeing all your lovely creations this week.

Charming

Morning and hello! For once I have my card ready, just not my post and well my card is still wet and it shows on the photo.

Edited
Ok then, here to finish my post. :) Lots of fall colours on this little card. I found an old paper pad from Bo Bunny that is perfect for the autumn. This week have I been colouring with my distress inks as my dear old ink jet printer have decided to give in. So now I need to find a new one and in the mean time trying to get something out from the laser printer and use up all that is already printed that have not been coloured yet. So maybe it's a good thing...

This week am I using Autumn leaves. Isn't it sweet? I love the little butterfly that is taking a ride on one of the leaf. Super cute! I have had a good look around in my stash and dug out some old flowers from Prima and put them together with roses from WOC and quite a bunch of die cutted leaves in brown and gold using the latest Magolia Doo Hicki club kit.

Our theme over at TPS this weeks is Charming - use a charm. I have used three of them. Lots in my stash. Two butterflies and on spider. I was a bit tired doing my card so one of the butterflies ended up under the dragonfly, at least partially, but it's there. At least you can see one of them and the spider. Couldn't help myself when it came to that one as I used the spider web from Magnolia I felt that it needed a spider as well. Just wish it had been black, couldn't find those. I am pretty sure I have a few of those. The dew drops is representing the rain showers that often falls during the autumn and comes with the winds.

Ok, meeting for the parents in school in a while and before that dinner. It's a soccer game for the oldest today as well, up and away to Ă–land. Tomorrow we have yet another game but then it's a home game.

Add a sentiment

Morning and hello! Fall is here as it looks and my pain is worse than ever? What is going on? This is supposed to be my good time of the year. Oh well, someday I will have less pain and feel less depressed because of it.

It's time for a new challenge over at Winter Wonderland today and the theme is set to "Add a sentiment". So sentiment/verses should be in focus on your creations.

Our sponsor this week is Crafty sentiments Design and the prize up for grabs is three digis for one lucky winner.

My card is very simple this time as I have to limit everything I do with my arms and hands to a minimum at the moment. I build up the card of spellbinder dies, the swirly one comes from Moa Pyssel. Isn't it lovely? The sentiment die comes from ROX stamps and I have used golden mirriboard from Panduro and white cardstock from Bazill. A golden net "ribbon" from my stash gives an extra bling thing. When I feel better I will probably add a few flowers or something like that to the card, but for now it has to go as clean and simple. :)

Time to lay down for a while and rest. In a few hours will the kids get home from school and then a soccer weekend can take place. How will I manage to handle that I wonder? I should just rest and take it easy not be out in the wet and cold. Well, we'll see about that. First a tournament for the youngest and the day after a game for the older, at the same place.

Take care and feel better than I am.

Love n hugs

Travel or transportation

Morning and hello! Back again with a little creation. This week it's my turn to host the challenge over at Passion for Promarkers. I have chosen the theme of  "travel or transportation". I hope that this will be an easy theme to play along with.

For my card have I used a lovely looking locomotive called Train Engine from Little Miss Muffet stamps. I have coloured with my Letraset markers as you all need to do if you want to play along with us over at PFP. There is both alcohol markers and aquamarkers for you to use.

The card is fairly simple and I have used bright nice colours to compliment the train image. The designer papers are from Jilly Bean Soup. Two different pads, but I can't find the fronts of the the pads. I have also used some glossy accent for the window and the light in the front of the train. A few black card candies and a few die cut clouds. Nice and easy design.

Our sponsor this week is Letraset, that is offering a colouring set off 12 markers. Set 1 is up for grabs. A great and very useful prize don't you think?

Well my friends, it's kind of short today as well. I am in lots of pain still and have to take it easy on the computer use for now. Hopefully will it be better soon.

Love n hugs
Marie
