In or beside the sea

Hello everyone! Today just a quick note to tell about our new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers, as I have had huge trouble with my vrists again. No coloring for me. :(

This is what Denise have written on the challenge blog:

"Good morning dear crafters, I hope you all had a fantastic week last week.  Thank you for all your gorgeous entries for last week’s ‘inspired by a song title’ challenge.  You certainly kept the DT busy with your entries and as always they had a brilliant time visiting your blogs and seeing your amazing creations.  Please remember to come back later as we will be announcing our 2 lucky winners, one will receive the Winsor & Newton brush markers courtesy ofLetraset and one will receive the $21.00 voucher courtesy of Bugaboo stamps.  We will also be finding out whoAndie has chosen as her top 5 Passionista.
Onto the new challenge, which has been set by Eileen from Team 1, and she has given us a brilliant theme of ‘in or beside the sea’.  Eileen has given you all a very easy theme this week, she would like you to use an image that is either in the sea or beside the sea (i.e. on the beach, on a pier, on a boat etc) on your creations this week.  Such a fun theme don’t you agree?  Whatever you make please remember you can enter using any type of creation, it doesn’t have to be a card. As always to be eligible for our prize draw you must use your Letraset products (promarkers, flex markers, tria markers, aqua markers or metallic markers) and of course follow the theme. Please can you help us by stating which Letraset products you have used on your creation i.e. ‘coloured with promarkers’ etc.  Thanks x x
Our generous sponsor this week is Sassy Studio designs who are offering one lucky winner a prize of a $20.00 voucher to spend in their online store. "

Do pop on over to the challenge blog and enter the fun challenge and I hope to be back really soon. If only the damp air could go away and the pain would ease. Have never been this sensitive about this before.

Birthday girl

Morning and hello! Welcome back to my little corner of the blogging world. Today have I actually managed to do some colouring for my card. Feels like forever since I really enjoyed doing it and spending time making the card even I know it will cost me quite some pain at the moment. Hopefully things are turning now. :) Or at least I can learn how to make it work which is the most important thing for me as I miss my colouring too much to let it go away.

Well, it's mid week and that means yet another new challenge over at the Paper Shelter. This weeks theme is set to "Birthday girl" which means we want you to make a card for a female/girl's birthday. A birthday sentiment is also nice to see on the card.

I have used one of the newer images called Charmy Bunny. I have recently had a talk with my youngest about getting a bunny or two, but the rest of the gang isn't that interested. I leave it for another year and settle with this image for now. It's coloured with Winsor Newton / Letraset Markers. I have used a texture stamp from Vintage kit 2 from Magnolia and a sentiment stamp from Gummiapan. The designer papers are from Magnolia and the Vintage autumn pad I think. I love the rich colours in that pad.

Some lace, and a punch is used. I don't know what brand it is. The butterflies are from Magnolia. Then as always a big bunch of flowers from my stash. A thin pearl string, some "ordinary" pearls and some glitter stickles on top of that. All the edges are distressed with walut stain from T.H.

As always when playing with us over at the Paper Shelter you have a chance of winning a gift voucher worth $30 as one of our crafter did this week. Playing with another brand gives you the chance of winning 3 digis of your choice. Do come and join us with this simple theme.

Enjoy the sunshine and some relaxing crafting time!

Add some sparkle

Good afternoon and hello! Last day of the school year today and now some soccer. For once it feels a bit strange to make Christmas cards. LoL Anyway, as I had a few to make for the kids' teachers I had to really go simple with this card.

I found yet another paper pad without any name but it was filled with blue papers and silver details. So that is what I used for this card. I used some silver paper I found as well and a few dies and card candies to add some extra sparkle. The silver looks a bit red here, but silver it is. The fancy rain deer from Joanna Sheen is cut in white cardstock.

As I thought it looked a bit plain did I add some white ribbon and a wooden snowflake that I covered in Silver glitter stickles. Some extra sparkle there. Well, even if we are in the middle of the Summer now I hope that you bring this challenge on and make a card or two for the big season. It's a nice and simple theme.

Food and drink over at Passion for Promarkers

Good evening and hello! A long hard day has soon come to an end. It's a really busy time at the moment. Schools end on Friday and the kids are tired, and there is class parties and other stuff to deal with. Really tired and in pain. Weather change is on the way as well so double up at the moment.

Well after having some problems with the colouring when making this card, I got there in the end. I used an image from the Paper Shelter filled with cake that belongs to the Swedish summer, strawberry cake. Yum!

As always when it comes to PFP have we the obligation to coulour with Letraset products. For this have I used tria and promarkers. I found an old pad of paper that had no front page. It's a dark dark red on the paper in the back and then some fun with pastel colours going with my red kitchen mashine. However it looks a lot more bright red than it is IRL. Flowers from my stash and some other decorations as well.

A silver glitter pen and a white one is also used to add some detail and sparkle. A doily too. The sentiment says congratulations in swedish.

Our generous sponsor this week is DigiStamp Boutique who are offering one lucky winner a prize of a £10.00 voucher to spend in their online store.  There are so many gorgeous digis in their store you will be spoilt for choice.

Well, now it's time for me to lay back in my bed and try to sleep. I have to get around this pain trouble some how. It could be worse however! It always can!

Crafter's Companion are giving a £10 voucher to spend in store

And my card. I still can't really hold on to my markers so I have used a die cut from Maja design once again. And paired it up with some more Maja Design papers. At this point I am really happy about those ready made toppers. Some dark red cardstock to add some more colours to the softer ones. Tons of flowers from my stash and ribbon from Panduro's Tilda series. You don't see much of the ribbon as it ended up under the flowers, but it's there. Some glitter and lots of pearls to finish it all off.

Now some cozy time with my brother's dog O.D. We're watching him over the weekend. He is such a charming little fellow and this is his first time meeting with our new cats. None of them are sure of how they will handle the other. But for as long as we keep calm it will be fine.

Enjoy your weekend and some relaxing crafting time!

Sentimental

Morning and hello! I am back again, tired and dizzy as always. I am having a really slow day today. Mats took the boys to school and will pick them up today. I can take care of my head and hopefully be able to be up a few hours when they come home.

Today is it time for a new challenge over at the Paper Shelter. Once again I had to go with the pre coloured image and this time did I use "You're my cup cake". A really cute image that I hope I will be able to colour on my own very soon.

I had to keep the card really simple this time as well and I hate not being able to put more energy into my creations at the moment. At least I managed to get a ribbon down and use some more of my never ending pile of letter stickers. A few flowers to give a little more detail as well. I have once again used some of the left overs from LOTV and NitWit collections. Have quite a pile laying around that is from cards made earlier. Very proud to lower my stash.

Some of my stash have also been cut down to pieces fitting my SNAP! albums. That is kind of my passion at the moment. However they are more like journals that photo albums. It's more fun to write in them than in my diary. Doesn't have to be a lot. And it's colourful and makes me happy. :) You should try it.

As always we have our gift voucher up for grabs if you play with a TPS image, three digis of your choice can be yours if you play with another brand. This week we gave away a gift voucher to Danny who was playing with a TPS image. Pop on over to the Paper Shelter and have a look at the fabby looking card.

Enjoy life and some relaxing crafting time!

Snowflakes

Morning and hello! Running a little late again as I can hardly move because of my headache. Anyway, Victory as manage to at least make a card. Had to step away from the colouring once again but the good thing is that I use my stamps that doesn't need colouring. Don't have that many of those but some at least.

As well as using a non colouring stamp I have raided my old stash to lower it a bit again. This pad is from Panduro and I love the colours in it but I am not that fond of the motives. But this way with only a little showing is fine. Once again have I used the metal snowflakes that I love, a lot. They come from ROX stamp here in Sweden. A ribbon and some golden sticker lines is also used. All to lower the stash a bit.

Our sponsor this time is  Little Claire
who are offering the winner their choice of 6 images

and Drawn with Character
with a prize of a £10 voucher

Well then. I sign off for today. It's last day of soccer school today and then it's a long weekend as our National day / the Swedish flag day on Monday. I hope we will have some nice weather but not that hot as it has been the last days. Had over 28 degrees in the shadows in my backyard yesterday. My body doesn't like this at all. Well, half does, the other doesn't. The joints is not feeling very well from this and now enough complaining. Time to do some crocheting or something that will make me forget about the pain in my head for a while.
