Silver/gold or Embossed background

Morning and hello! Happy Friday to you all. Today is it time for a new challenge over at the Winter Wonderland. This time would we like to see your gold/silver or / and embossed background.

My card is made with a christmas Tilda coloured with distress ink this time. Have found out that my hands can handle a brush better than the markers so from time to time I will use them instead. The dp's are from Authentiqe I think and is actually a wedding collection. Can you see that? LoL

I have used a few punched snowflakes and decorated with some pearls. Then some of that lovely pearl lace from Annelie once again. This time cut a bit shorter and used both up and down on the card. The cardstock are from Panduro and is covered with glitter in silver. Also is a piece of silver net used on the card.

I will ad the sponsors for the challenge as soon as I can, but in the meanwhile. Stay happy and craft!

Love n hugs

Marie

Anything goes over at The Paper Shelter

Morning and hello! A new busy day with tons to do, but now settling down. Today is the beginning of our summer challenge at the Paper Shelter. We have the theme of Anything goes, and this time the team have some time off so we won't be leaving any comments.

As always are you playing with a TPS image you have the chance of a gift voucher worth $30, playing with another brand gives you the chance of winning three digis of your choice.

For my card this time have I used Adorable Cowgirl. I coloured it ages ago and today have I matched it up with dp's from LOTV/Nit Wit collections. The pearl lace have I got from my friend Annelie. Thanks! The flowers and the straws are from my stash. Sentiment stamp from Gummiapan.

Ok, sweet and short today as well. A busy weekend coming, and I am struggling a bit with my joints as the weather have changed again. From dry to moist.

Love n hugs

Christmas in July

Morning and hello. Time for a new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers and this week are we celebrating Christmas. Theme is set to Christmas in July.

Once again have I used one of my many Maja design paper pads. This time have I paired them up with a Tilda from Magnolia. As always when it comes to challenges over Passion for Promarkers, you need to use a colouring medium from Letraset to have a chance at the lovely prize from ADFD this week. A gift voucher is up for grabs.

For decorations have I used some gemstones and pearls as center pieces on die cutted snowflakes. A ribbon, bow and a flower from my stash. A punch from unknown brand is used for the snowflake border as well.

Sweet and short today as we are packing for a big soccer tournament. But I will see you back here later this week.

A thank you card...

Morning and hello! Every single year since the kids started day care have I made a gift and card for their teachers. This year as well. My final time for the oldest teacher as he is getting a new teacher and a new class in the fall. It is too many teachers to keep up with now. But here is one that I made this year. And this one is for my youngest son's teacher.

I did no colouring this time as I have been so poorly in my hands that I just couldn't hold on to my markers. But luckly for me have I been able to use some toppers from Maja design for the cards to the teachers this time. It is not as fun as doing the whole thing yourself but better than nothing at all, don't you think?

I love the dp with the lemons on it. I actually had lemons as a theme in my apartment before we moved to the house. The design is really simple and I have just used some flowers and glitter glue that had not really dried when I took the picture. Letter stickers from Panduro. They are the perfect size to add to a card with a greeting. The border on the topper is from Spellbinders.

Ok then, this is all from me for today. I hope to see you back here soon and that you enjoy your good moments when they cross your way.

Enjoy the sunshine and some relaxing crafting time!

Love n hugs
Marie

Ribbon/s

Morning and hello! Hope you are enjoying some lovely summer or winter time depending on where you are in the world. We have a new challenge up for you this week over at the Paper Shelter. The theme is nice and easy. Only add a ribbon on your creation and you are ready to go. Can't be much more easy than that can it?

For this card have I used the lovely image called Serena and today I was in a blue mood. I love beige and blue together and since Maja design have some fabby looking dp's in those colours I went with Maja design again. The little lady is coloured with Letraset markers. And today have I used quite a lot of dies to decorate my card. There is also to white ribbon and a piece of beige lace. I love that. Found it the other day and there is plenty of colours of it as well. The pearls are from my stash and in many different sizes this time. A M.S punch is also used for my border.

Well, I do hope you will come and join us and play along in our nice and easy challenge. You don't have to use a TPS image even if we love it when you do. You have the chance of winning a gift voucher worth $30 playing with a TPS image and 3 digis from the store playing with another brand.

Now time to relax again and watch some Brittish crime stories and then off to bed and crochet for a while.

Enjoy the summer and some relaxing crafting time!

Carol singer / Make a scene

Morning and hello! I thought I would be late with my card today but I managed to get it done after my ironing marathon yesterday. Luckly I had already started the creative process of coloring. LoL

It's a rainy morning here today and we will go on a little trip, maybe to the local castle of Kalmar. An old very well taken care of place. Lots of lovely history and lovely thinks to look at.

Ok then, my card. I have used an image from A random fan. Sorry, I don't remember the name of it, but cute it is. Coloured with my Letraset Markers it is. I then raided my stash and used yet another sheet of my old papers in blue and silver. I decided to go with a shaker card this week. In there is a few die cut notes, snowflakes, micro pearls and sequines. The landscaping dies I have used are from Gummiapan here in Sweden. A really great brand.

Our sponsors for this weeks challenge is Bunny Zoe and A random fan. I will add more details to it later on, when we get back home in a few hours.

For now, enjoy the sunshine (if there is any) and some relaxing crafting time.

Love n hugs
Marie

Summer days

Morning and hello! What a great birthday I had the other day! No crafting involved, just dining and park golfing. (Like golf but in a mini way, but not miniatyr golf. You have all players on the court at the same time in this version. I got beaten but had great fun, and then followed by a day in bed but it was so worth it. :) Yesterday I even had the energy to craft for real for the first time in very long, and really enjoying it.

Today we have a new fun theme for you over at Passion for Promarkers. The theme is set to summer days. And grewing up sailing when I was a kid summer is still sea and sand for me. So I picked this image from the Paper Shelter to illustrate my summer days. It's called Pretty little sailor. The first thing my granddad who was a sailor and carpenter thought me when I was really young was to keep the boat's rope in order and always had us tidy them up like I have on my card. Some things just sick with you, don't they?

As always playing a long with us over at PFP you need to use Letraset markers. I have used a bunch of a special kit that I won from them many years ago. I love the colours and will be really sad when they run out of order. But for now they are working fine. The dp's are from Maja Design "Skärgårdsliv" I think the pad is called. Instead of the normal red, blue and white have I used pink just for fun. A ton of dies is also used mostly from Magnolia Doo Hickey. The little birdies are from Joanna Sheen.

Sponsoring our challenge this week is Digi Stamp Boutique which is offering a gift voucher worth £10. Such great prize don't you think?

Ok then, I think I will get back to the crafting room today and try to make one or two more cards if my body allow it. A little trip to the sea so the kids can swim in the sea will we hopefully manage as well.

Enjoy the sunshine and some crafting time!

Sunny days

Morning and hello! I am back again, missed me? Luckly I had a card made earlier so I could take part in this challenge, otherwise it would have been hard. Gosh! I am tired of me complaining about the never ending pain. It stops here and now.

This week over at the Paper Shelter do we have the theme of Sunny Days, which is not the case here today, that's for sure. The rain is pooring down, well needed but the kids have soccer school this week so today will be a really wet one. The coaches are amazing and they have so much fun. Totally smashing is the word for it.

For me sunny days means ice cream and lots of it. And this image have I used a million times and I still love it. This is probably my favourite one ever. The kid is cute and it's fun to colour. :) It's called happy times and there is five or six kids in this collection. This one is part of a three pack of sweet summer boys. There is also one kiddo jumping the trampoline and one relaxing in the hammock. I have (as almost always) used dp's from Echo Park when it comes to summer colours and cards. Boys birthdays as well. Love the fun bright designs and colours. Always makes me happy.

I have (as almost always) used dp's from Echo Park when it comes to summer colours and cards. Boys birthdays as well. Love the fun bright designs and colours. Always makes me happy. The design is simple with only some letter stickers and foam letters to spell out the greeting to the summer birthday boy. Have used black as back drop as I think it really pops the bright colours. The image is coloured with my Letraset /Winsor & Newton markers.

And as always when it comes to challenges that we hold over at the Paper Shelter you have the chance to win a gift voucher worth $30 if you play with a Paper Shelter image, or three digis of your choice playing with another brand. The challenge blog is really bright and happy this week, so do pop on over and come and join us for this weeks challenge.
