Add some metal over at the Paper Shelter

Morning and hello! I am back with my second post of today. As always I have not gotten my photo taken yet, or rather the photo of my card. It has been some power breaks the other day due to heavy winds and snow, so even if I was done in time so has the light be gone. At least when it comes to photos. I should really get things done more in time. But still a game off catching up. I am getting there. Just wait and see. LoL

Our theme over at the Paper Shelter this week is "Add some metal" and it should not be that hard as a challenge. There is always the trusty charms that I am sure you have plenty of, at least if you have been crafting for a while, metallic embossing powder, metal corners. You name it! Just let your imagination fly free.

For my card have I used the for us here on the Swedish East coast very fitting image Snowball fight. For three days now has it snowed and it keeps coming more. There is also heavy winds. Almost scary to go by the bus at the moment. Hope it calm down soon. Anyway, I used the pre coloured image once again as I am still spending a lot of time by the PC writing during the days and is in heavy pain during the nights. So I keep away from colouring as much as I can at the moment.

I have used some digital papers from Echo Park called "A Perfect Winter" and matching "Dots and Stripes" from the same brand. I also found a new, unopened pack of Anita's card base in the size of 13,5 x 13,5 cm. Decided to go ahead and start using them. When I started making cards it was always this size. Now I find them a tiny bit small, but not throwing them away. LoL

I added yet another piece of lace from my stash together with some dark blue and white twine and hanging from it is my metal charm. I have also used a few metal pearls in silver and some silver shimmered sequins.

As always, we have a gift voucher up worth $30 when you play with the Paper Shelter brand. Playing with another brand gives you the chance of winning 3 digis of your choice. Nice and easy to play along, right? You can enter our challenges up to three times, but at least one of your creations needs to have a TPS image on it.

Well then, running low on the battery for the lap top so I better sign out before it closes down. Do come and join us for our challenge. You don't have to use a TPS image but we get really happy when you do.

Take care and do something that makes YOU happy!

Snowmen or Anything Christmas over at TMCC

Morning and hello! How are you? Hope your doing fine and are having a good week so far. Here is it snowing like crazy and the winter is really, really back. Cold and snow and heavy winds. Yesterday they even stopped the busses from going on the big island outside my town. Can't remember when that happend last.

Well, today do I have to posts to show you and this is the first of them. We have a new challenge going up over at The Merry Christmas Challenge. Our theme is Snowmen or anything goes X-mas. So it's time to get those Christmas cards going again. You will be happy you started in time when December comes again.

I have used the same image as I have a few more times before during the last months. I really, really love these Sassy Cheryls images, and especially the snowmen. I don't know how many times I have coloured this one in, but it is still fun so you will probably see it here again. In yet another colour combo. LoL

I have used one of the multi coloured paper pads from Dove Craft I think. I don't really remember the name of it. It's a short memory these days. The sentiment is from LOTV and was/is a perfect match for this image, don't you think?

I have decorated the card with some die cut snowflakes from Lawn Fawn. I put a few pearls in the middle of them all. Some buttons from my stash has also been used to decorate my card. I have also used a piece of string to mimic the string for the star and make it "hang" from the top of the card.

I am sorry that my photo has a red shine to it. I have a crocheted window strip in coral colour in my window and forgot to take it away. And since I have a bit of limited time by the computer it has to be as it is for now.

Do come on and play with us all over at TMCC. It would be fun to have you join us. You don't even have to follow our theme if you don't want to. Just make a X-mas card!

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

Love n hugs

Cats and/or dogs over at PFP

Morning and hello! Thanks for stick by my a bit random posting at the moment. Tons of pain and colds are passing by here. A week ago I couldn't even move my left arm due to inflammation. At the moment does my life suck when it comes to this. But I keep living on hope and believe it will be better. There is no other way to go. :)

So it's time for a new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers. Our theme is "cats and/or dogs". There is tons of images with these creatures so it should be easy to join our fun challenge.

Denise Morgans foto.

Sponsoring us this week is Dr Digi's House of Stamps. The winner has a waiting prize of 2 digis. A nice and lovely prize for a lucky winner.

And now time to move on to my card. I have used an image that I had laying around for quite some time, so long that I really can't remember from where the image is. It's very light coloured in greys and some red and pink. And I totally adore the image. I need to find it on my PC again so that I can make a few more cards with it. You should be able to use it both for birthdays and Christmas with with a little imagination.

I have also coloured the papers with the roses. It comes in black and white but I thought it looked fun to colour it. It worked and gave the pop the card needed. The paper pad is from Glitz. Totally love this black, white and red pad. And for once I was happy to know that my memory is terrible as I had bought of the pads. See something good in every thing. LoL.

I have used Martha Stewart punch for the big panel and the other only decoration is a piece of lace from my stash. I have the same one in lace and normally fold it in half or cut it in half, but for this card it was perfect with it's full width. I have also used a bunch of layers with left over papers from other cards but from the same pad. I am getting good at using up my scraps thanks to all scrapbooking you tube "movies" I have seen when in the pain. Perfect way to spend some time when I wasn't in the mood for winter sports.

Ok then. Time to sign off for today. I will be back soon again. I do hope that you will come and join our fun challenge for this week. The only thing that you have to do is to use Letraset or Winsor & Newton markers for your creation.

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

One lucky winner is getting a giftvoucher worth $10. How nice isn't that for a prize?

My card then. I wasn't really in the function when making this card so I used the pre coloured version of Hanging Kitty. A sweet image that will suite my youngest niece perfect when Christmas comes. I paired the lovely image together with a happy paper pad from Dove Craft I think. I am sorry but no name, again. ;) It has happy coloures in pink, green, blue, brown etc.

For decorations did I use a few small, lovely green buttons, some dark red pearls and a lovely black spotted ribbon with a bow. Nice and easy this time.

Anyway, I hope you come and join us in our celebrations of Eileen and that you will enjoy making any kind of Christmas project you feel like!

Decorate it!

Morning and hello! Welcome back to my blog corner. It is a bit dull at the moment but I hope to get my life together in the near future. It is a little bit too much of everything at the moment and a game of catching up after being sick for two weeks.

But now to the second card of the day. We have a new challenge over at The Paper Shelter today and our theme is "Decorate it". That means it should be a really easy challenge as we don't expect you to go over board with anything. Just a normal decorating.

For my card have I used the really pretty pre coloured image of Josephine. I don't have the energy or the joints to colour at the moment. But it's always nice to show off Veronicas lovely work as well. She really is a master of digital colouring. Wish I had the time and energy to learn that as well.

NitWit collection just had a new digital paper set out called Farmhouse and it's totally amazing. I love every single piece of it. And it is a perfect match to this image. I am pretty sure you will see me use quite alot of this set in the future as soon as I have bought some more ink. LoL

I have done a classic decoration to be me. Used a bunch of flowers from my stash, pearls, metal corners and some lace to that. And to top it all of some glitter stickles as well.

Ok then, this is all from me for today. I will be back later on this week but for now take care and do something that makes you happy.

Do come and join us over at the Paper Shelter!

Anything Christmas or the theme of reindeers over at TMCC

Early Morning and hello! Hope you're doing fine and ready for a new Christmas Challenge over The Merry Christmas Challenge. I know it might feel a bit strange to make Christmas cards now when the spring is on the way. But you will be happy when the celebrations are here in December. LoL

This time we have our normal theme of Anything Christmas or if you want to challenge yourself a bit you use a reindeer or two on your creation. And for once have I manage to follow the extra theme of the week.

I have used an old stamp of mine that I can't remember the name or the brand off. Sorry about that. I have used my embossing powders again. I have not used them in a long time and while I had all the stuff out the other day I decided to make a few more embossed cards. I tried a few different colours and the same design. These will be good to send to friends all over the world. They won't be that expensive to send in the mail. LoL

I have used some black embossing powder for this version. I have also used some left overs from golden cardstock and some left over striped red and craft paper. The image is stamped and embossed on craft cardstock. There is some golden colour shine added, some black and white twine and a reindeer charm from my stash.

Anyway, I hope you will come and join us over at the Merry Christmas Challenge. Just make a Christmas card with any Christmas theme or with a reindeer or two on it.

Take care and do something that makes your day a happy one!

With love and hugs
Marie

Add an embellishment over at PFP

Morning and hello! How are you? Hope you have had a good start of the week? I am still struggling with the "left overs" from the flu the last few weeks. Still really tired and lacking energy. But from now it can only get better, right?

Our theme of the week over at Passion for Promarkers is to "add an embellishment". And before I forget it is my theme enamel dots. And I am affraid I used tons of them. Happy pick me up colours!

Denise Morgans foto.

Sponsoring our challenge is Digi Stamp Boutique. The prize is £10. That is for one happy winner of our challenge! Really nice isn't it?

As a side effect of the cold has my joints taking a bit of a hit so my colouring isn't going to that well. So I have taken the easy way out and used my aqua markers again. I use them too seldom but now two challenges in a row. I needed something to pick me up and this ended up like something that I would do in an art journal, if I had the time to do that kind of craft. LoL wish that I wasn't that tired all the time so I would have the energy to do more of the art and crafts. Well, I have to be happy with what I have the energy to do.

The image and sentiment is from Sheena Douglas I think. I decided to use some golden embossing powder instead of the normal stamping technic. It looks really glittery and luxurious, just what I needed to pick me up. I did some "wild" doodling as well, just like and impression of flying butterflies. To add some dreamy feeling have I used clusters of enamel dots in different colours. The ones I have used has some glitter details to them. I have also used some golder colour shine. It's not showing that well here but it's really sparkling and nice.

Well then, I hope you like my a bit different card for the week. I do hope that you will come and join our fun challenge of the week. The theme is "Add an embellishment". The only thing you have to do is to use your Winsor & Newton or Letraset markers of any kind.

Love n hugs

Box it up over at Winter Wonderland

Morning and hello and welcome to my mega late dt-post for the Winter Wonderland. I have been totally knocked out by the lovely flu together with my youngest. Hopefully we are now out of this horrible period with winter illnesses.

Today do we have a lovely winter day and it feels more like Christmas today than it did when the big celebrations took place. We have around -7 degrees and snow. We'll how many days that will last. :)

Anyway as I play catch up here I better get to my card for this challenge. We have the lovely  Sasayaki Glitter sponsoring us this week and the design team have used images from the sponsor. The prize is one digi for the winner of the challenge. Thank you so much!

I have coloured the lovely image called Christmas Penguins with copic markers. I have a small collection of those as well as my Winsor/Newton markers which is my go to markers. Anyway, coloured away and used tons of colours, and bright they are as well.

And since my image is colourful there is also colourful designer papers. I have had those for ages and the pad is a never ending pad. Tons of paper and lots of colours. I think it's from DoveCraft but the front is lost. I did some doodling and a piece of lace to decorate the card. Nice and easy.

Anyway, hope you like this happy card suiting for a kid I think.

Love n hugs
Marie
